A charity funded App introduced at Derriford two years ago has proved to be a big hit with patients accessing health services in Plymouth.

Staff from the Postbridge day surgery and overnight recovery unit gathered on 21 March to celebrate the unveiling of two beautifully transformed pre-operative rooms for patients.

The Snowdrop Suite, a sanctuary for bereaved parents at Derriford Hospital, was officially opened on the 17 October 2023. The unit has been renovated to provide an improved environment for families who are suffering the sad loss of their baby.
