Applying for a Charity Grant

We fund projects that improve the health, wellbeing, and experiences of patients and staff across our hospitals.

Got a great idea? Big or small, we want to hear it!

Please send Leanne, our Grants and Impact Coordinator, an email and describe, in no more than 250 words, your Expression of Interest (EOI) with the expected amount of the grant required. Leanne will then be able to steer you through the process and be on hand to answer any questions

  • You can apply for one of four grant amounts:

    Micro Grant (Up to £500). You should select this option if you wish to apply for or spend charity funds or to claim *expenses or other reimbursement up to £500 from a designated charity fund.

    Small Grants (£501 - £5,000).

    Medium Grants (£5,001 - £20,000)

    Large Grants (£20,001 and above)

  • We support a wide range of projects that make a real difference for both patients and staff. All grants are awarded across four key themes:

    • Improving patient experience 

    • Improving staff experience 

    • Clinical equipment and service development 

    • Small-scale research

  • Grant panels meet quarterly, and you’ll receive a response within five working days of the meeting.
