Abseiling Superheroes Raise Over £40,000 for Plymouth’s Hospitals
On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September 2025, more than 120 abseiling superheroes took on the Derriford Abseil, raising over £40,000 for Plymouth hospitals.
NHS staff, thankful patients, local families and businesses all conquered their nerves to support a cause close to their hearts: making our hospitals better for everyone. This phenomenal total will make an incredible impact, helping to fund cutting-edge equipment, comforts and support where it’s needed most.
We had an absolute blast watching you all brave the abseil. The energy, positivity and encouragement between everyone made it such a special weekend - even in the awful weather!
